Between the catalog shoot, the holidays and NYIGF in January, we’ve been doing a ton of creating around the MIDORI offices in the past few months.  There are so many amazing things you can do with MIDORI products, and we’re very excited to share some of our latest Pretty Little Things with you!

MIDORI’s Etsy Faves

As many of you know, MIDORI has recently become very active in the Etsy community.  We love interacting with the Etsy members and selling in such an inspirational, DIY-oriented online environment!  In addition to the great community atmosphere that Etsy provides (even with over 300,000 shops!), it also provides us with the opportunity to scout for some amazing products and inspirations.  Below we’ve listed some of our faves from the talented people on the site.  There’s some great holiday gift ideas in this list – for someone else or yourself!

Holiday Inspiration

It’s officially December and you know what that means…the holidays are right around the corner!  MIDORI’s Ribbon and Gift Wrap can be used for so many things around the holiday season – from traditional gift wrap to decor to stationary.  After the jump, we share some of our favorite uses for MIDORI as well as a variety of gift wrap and ribbon combos that we hope will inspire you this holiday season.

The MIDORI 2012 Catalog Shoot

After months of preparation and anticipation, we held our 2012 catalog shoot this week!  The shoot, which ran Monday-Wednesday, was definitely our best yet.  We had an amazing team of talent working with us, and we are so thankful for everyone that was a part of the shoot this year.  For a behind the scenes look at all the action, please follow the jump.

MIDORI’s New Website!

We were very excited to unveil our new website earlier this week, and we’re equally as excited to share it with all of you!

This website is the combination of our inspirations, customer suggestions and lots of hard work by our staff!  We designed it with all of our customers in mind, placing priority on the site being easy to use and aesthetically inspirational.  Please, take some time to check it out and look over not only our products and latest collections, but the inspirations as well.  We welcome and look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions on this new site – feel free to comment on the blog or contact us at marketing@midoriribbon.com.

Artist Inspiration: Audrey Kawasaki

We were recently gifted with this beautiful print by Audrey Kawasaki, and we wanted to share it with all of our MIDORI friends.  Audrey is an amazing artist, and both Trevor and I are very inspired by her work, which she describes as a “contradiction within itself.”  We love that she paints her pieces on wood panels – it presents a really unique texture that contrasts perfectly with her images.  If you get a chance, check out Audrey’s amazing talent at http://www.audrey-kawasaki.com.

Announcing MIDORI’s Holiday Retail Collection!

We are so excited to announce the official launch of MIDORI products designed specifically for our retail customers!  These new products will be released seasonally, and will be available to all MIDORI fans.  Currently, you can purchase some fantastic MIDORI Gift Wrap products, available in both 3-sheet and 5-sheet rolls, at our Etsy store and Felt & Wire shop, as well as through select MIDORI retailers.

In the coming weeks, we will also be introducing a great selection of MIDORI ribbon to the mix.  We are so excited to begin this new venture and bring all of you the opportunity to be inspired by a new product mix every season!
